Install & use offline
Offline cache is not ready yet. Open a production build online and allow Reader to finish caching.
- iPhone or iPad: open Reader in Safari, choose Share, then Add to Home Screen.
- Android: use Install Reader, or choose Install app / Add to Home screen in the browser menu.
- Desktop: use the browser’s install icon when available.
Open Reader online once before disconnecting. Script analysis, character reference and your saved data then work without a connection. Browser storage removal also removes offline availability.
Local data & backups
Your saved analyses, bookmarks, recent text and preferences stay in this browser’s IndexedDB. No account or cloud storage is used.
Import merges analyses with your library and restores the backup’s preferences. Current saved items are kept. Recent unsaved history is limited to 100 entries during normal use.
About the analysis
Reader analyses Standard Central Thai. Spelling alone does not determine every pronunciation: names, loanwords, lexical exceptions and ambiguous boundaries can need context. Listed readings use a compact curated set. Other outputs are labeled rule-based candidates; unsupported readings are withheld.
Offline word and syllable segmentation data: PyThaiNLP (CC0). Tone rules follow the Northern Illinois University Thai tone charts. No definitions or English translations are included.
